Terms and Conditions of Sale

These Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the sale of products offered on lacaleauxtresors.fr by La Cale aux Trésors (Entreprise individuelle (micro-entrepreneur)). Placing an order implies full acceptance of these Terms, which the buyer acknowledges having read and approved before confirming the order.

Products are 3D-printed figurines, accessories and objects, made by hand. As each piece is produced to order, slight variations (colour, finish, printing lines) may occur and do not constitute a defect. Photographs are as accurate as possible but are not contractually binding.

Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included. TVA non applicable, art. 293 B du CGI — VAT is therefore neither charged nor recoverable. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the destination country and the weight of the parcel, starting from 5.50 €. The seller may change prices at any time; the price applied is the one displayed when the order is placed.

The buyer selects the products, checks the summary shown in the cart, accepts these Terms, then confirms payment. The sale is final once payment has been received. An invoice is sent by email after payment.

Payments are processed by Stripe, a certified payment provider. Card details are never stored on our servers. The order is only produced once payment has been received in full.

Products are shipped to the address supplied by the buyer. Delivery times include a preparation and manufacturing period (2 to 5 business days) plus transit time depending on the destination. These times are indicative; in accordance with French law, delivery takes place no later than 30 days after the order unless otherwise agreed. In the event of delay, the buyer may cancel the sale under the conditions set out in the French Consumer Code.

Customs and import duties: for deliveries outside the European Union, any customs duties, import taxes or handling fees are payable by the buyer and are not included in the price shown.

Under Articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the buyer has 14 days from receipt of the products to withdraw, without having to give a reason. Return shipping costs are payable by the buyer, and the product must be returned in perfect condition. Refunds are issued within 14 days of recovering the goods or receiving proof of their dispatch.

Exception — personalised items: in accordance with Article L221-28 3° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the buyer's specifications or clearly personalised (custom orders, engraved bases, prints produced specifically at the buyer's request).

To exercise this right, contact us at contact@lacaleauxtresors.fr or use the “Request a return” button in your Orders area. The return address will then be sent to you by email.

Regardless of any commercial warranty, the buyer benefits from the legal guarantee of conformity (Articles L217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code). If a product is non-conforming, defective or damaged in transit, contact us at contact@lacaleauxtresors.fr or through our contact form.

No cost to the buyer. Under Article L217-11 of the French Consumer Code, bringing the goods into conformity is carried out at no cost to the buyer. As the parcel travels under our responsibility until delivery (Article L216-4), an item damaged in transit falls under this regime: neither any return shipping nor the dispatch of a replacement is payable by the buyer.

How it works: sending photographs of the product and its packaging is usually enough — returning the item is generally not required. We replace the piece as a priority. If replacement is impossible, would take too long, or if the buyer prefers, the order is refunded in full, including the original shipping costs.

We may ask the buyer to keep the damaged item and its packaging for about two weeks while the claim is handled with the carrier.

Under Article L612-1 of the French Consumer Code, the buyer may use a consumer mediator free of charge to settle a dispute amicably, after first attempting to resolve it directly with the seller.

Buyers resident in the European Union may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform.

Personal data is processed in accordance with our privacy policy. The buyer has rights of access, rectification and erasure, exercisable at contact@lacaleauxtresors.fr.

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties shall seek an amicable settlement before any legal action. Failing agreement, the competent courts shall be those designated by the applicable rules of jurisdiction. Consumers resident in the European Union retain the protection afforded by the mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence.
